Volunteer Driver’s Needed
The Oceanside Senior Center is seeking volunteer drivers for the Senior Volunteer Transportation Program, helping seniors aged 65 and over. Volunteer drivers age 18 years or older will be reimbursed 50 cents a mile up to 150 miles or $75.00 per month and would drive their own vehicle. Volunteer drivers will be required to participate in the City’s volunteer process which includes fingerprinting and background checks, providing a DMV printout, and participating in training exercises. Drivers will also provide proof of vehicle insurance meeting the California State requirements.
